Pat started her journey with the Silverado family as a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant. Eventually, she permanently joined the Barton Springs community, taking on the role of Director of Rehabilitation. Pat’s true desire was to make an even greater impact on residents’ lives, leading her to her current role as Director of Resident Engagement. With an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the Texas Woman’s University and a postgraduate degree in Physical Therapy from Concorde Career College, she has dedicated a significant portion of her career to helping others through physical therapy. Pat has worked in various settings, including skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, outpatient care and acute care.
Although Pat has served in wide variety of settings, she has discovered a special calling to work with individuals living with memory impairment. Having experienced her own grandmother live with Alzheimer’s, serving seniors in memory care is a deeply meaningful and honorable opportunity for her.
Born and raised in Texas, Pat made the move to Austin in 2019 from Allen. When she’s not enriching the lives of residents, she can be found playing the guitar, hiking or spending quality time with her family and friends. Pat hopes to accomplish one of her lifelong goals of visiting and hiking at every national park across the United States.
