Growing up in the close-knit villages of Alaska, she developed a deep appreciation for community, support and elder care. Katelyn’s upbringing instilled in her the values of empathy, patience and the importance of fostering meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. She understands the importance of honoring traditions while embracing change and is driven by a passion to serve others. Katelyn has been involved in various community outreach and advocacy efforts, always striving to make a positive impact. Her commitment to service is reflected in her dedication to uplifting others, whether through volunteer work or championing causes that promote equity and social justice.
Outside of her professional role, Katelyn is a devoted mother to two children, Kaylee and Jagger, and enjoys spending time outdoors with them and their pets, Wyatt and Maisie. From kayaking to camping, they find joy in nature and adventure.
