Jessie Gunn

Jessie has been a passionate advocate for Alzheimer’s and dementia care for over 25 years. Her journey began as the Director of Marketing for an Alzheimer’s community, where she discovered a deep love for supporting families and helping the broader community navigate the challenges of memory impairment. Over the course of her career, Jessie has achieved two milestones: opening the first Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health and expanding that initiative across all Texas Tech Health Science Centers, and launching one of the largest Hispanic Women’s Health Conferences in the nation.

As the Community Ambassador, Jessie is excited to continue her advocacy and education on dementia and Alzheimer’s. With a deep passion for making a difference, she is committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment for residents while easing the stress families experience during such challenging times.

Raised in West Texas, Jessie is the proud mother of two children, Ali and Nicholas. Now residing in Houston, the family has embraced their new city and loves calling it home.
