Heather brings a rich background in making a positive impact through various roles. She has served as a Recreation Therapist at CHOC, contributed to AIDS care teams and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and hospice organizations.
Heather first joined the Silverado family in 2011 when her mother became a resident. Over the next seven years, she fell in love with Silverado’s culture, admiring the love, care and deep compassion shown by every single associate. This experience inspired Heather to become a volunteer and later join the team as a Resident Engagement Associate. Today, she serves as the Director of Resident Engagement, where she finds it a true gift to lead and create meaningful experiences for residents.
Outside of her work at Silverado, Heather has been married for 30 years and has two children. She also has a dog named Pippi, who is the most popular member of the family!
