Dorothy Washington

Dottie began her career as an Activities Director in 1986 at Mount San Antonio College, where she served as a Senior Exercises Instructor at Casa Bonita. Six years later, she pursued additional certifications at Chaffey College, which propelled her into a role at a 265-bed hospital community. During her three years there, she realized she was not fulfilling her true passion for working with seniors in assisted living.

In 2001, Dottie accepted a position as the Director of Resident Engagement at Silverado Sierra Vista. Over the next 21 years, she thrived at Silverado, showcasing her dedication by creating and implementing meaningful activity programs for residents. Although she briefly retired in 2022, her passion for enriching the lives of seniors drew her back in 2023, eager to experience the unique Silverado magic once again.
