Candace earned her Bachelor’s in Human Relations from Kansas State University and went on to obtain her Master’s in Advising with an emphasis in Transitions & Diversity. Shortly after, she made the decision to follow one of her passions and become a dance studio owner, where she dedicated her talents to creating dance programs specifically tailored for seniors. Through her expertise and educational background, Candace has successfully enhanced the physical, cultural, and social well-being of Overland Park’s residents, while also building a strong sense of community and engaging programs.
Candace’s admiration for seniors began at the early age of 14 when she served as a candy striper at the Olathe Hospital. Today, she feels privileged to be a part of Silverado, where she has the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of residents every day.
Beyond her work at Silverado, Candace finds great joy in spending time with her three lovely daughters, son-in-law and grandchild. On her free time, she also teaches dance classes, travels across the country as a dance competition judge and focuses on her online business.
