Resident Life in Silverado Communities
Our communities are designed to be more than a place where residents feel at home – they’re a place residents are happy to call home.
This is a simple idea, but one that has helped us change countless lives in the two-plus decades since we opened our doors. Our focus is on creating a place where residents are comfortable, content, happy, engaged, social and respected – just like we all feel when we’re surrounded by the familiarity ad comfort or home.
Silverado communities – both the physical construction and the environment we create – are designed to create unsurpassed comfort and wellbeing while promoting life and energy, providing the engagement and socialization that are so vital to keeping residents stimulated and living well with their disease. Residents’ comfort, dignity and quality of life are our goals, and we work to meet them through a range of features and amenities:
- Level-appropriate engagement programs to address a wide range of interests. These include, but are not limited to, cooking, flower arranging, crafts and more.
- Physical activities like tai chi, yoga and ping pong.
- Access to community walking paths and outdoor areas so residents can experience fresh air and movement
- Restaurant style meals in our dining rooms, complete with linen tablecloths and napkins, and china, glassware and flatware
- Pets (both residents’ and community) to provide engagement, purpose and the affection that only a dog or cat can
These are just a few of the steps we’ve implemented and refined over the years to help craft the unique living experience at Silverado. For more information, continue to browse or contact one of our memory care specialists to schedule a tour.
