Every year Silverado families are surveyed by U.S. News & World Report about their experience with us. Here are just a few comments shared by verified Silverado Thousand Oaks family members when surveyed:

“It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made and the most guilt that I have ever experienced to enter my loved one in a kind of facility that they would never have wanted. It was hard but necessary. However , they have acclimated beautifully and enjoy the food and the friendliness and care of the staff. The staff also organizes monthly parties and family entertainment nights. They try very hard to make the experience enjoyable for both residents and families.”

“I think Silverado sets itself apart as the only senior living facility dedicated to memory care. No other facility offers the focus and appropriate staffing levels that Silverado does.”

“The facility is very warm and comforting, modern and clean. The workers are very friendly and professional. I feel very comfortable having a family member at this facility!”

“Over the first month, I noticed steady and obvious improvement. The improvement is started to flatten out but she is much better than she was in the previous facility. The staff is also very friendly in all of the interactions that I’ve observed. They are *present* with the people under their care and are helpful without sounding condescending. They also listed to me when I gave advice on the best ways to interact with my parent.”

    Why choose Silverado?

    Open/close panel
    Open/close panel

Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.

We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (805) 307-7300 and schedule a time to visit Silverado Thousand Oaks.

In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
