Raquita brings over 20 years of experience enriching the lives of seniors to Silverado Frederick. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holds bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Raquita initially began her career as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, where she discovered her passion for providing compassionate care to seniors.

Raquita takes great pride in being part of an incredible and compassionate team, where she shares her love, enthusiasm and deep understanding of the complexities of memory care with local families. She deeply resonates with Silverado’s “Love is Greater than Fear” philosophy and takes great joy in introducing the Silverado name to the community.

Outside of Silverado, Raquita enjoys spending time with her family and two golden doodle dogs. On her free time, she enjoys RV camping, quilting, painting and researching genealogy. Raquita is also a history lover and enjoys traveling internationally.

Lindsey is a certified Dementia Care Practitioner, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Memory Coach. She also holds certifications in the Parkinson’s Big and Loud Program and Dr. Lam’s Tai Chi for Rehabilitation. Lindsey is an expert in dementia and is a sought-after speaker on international podcasts and issues related to brain health.

With almost a decade of experience working in healthcare primarily with the older adult population, Lindsey has become a passionate brain health advocate for people of all ages. After seeing a significant need for improved brain health programming and interventions after the Covid-19 pandemic, she founded the Maryland Center for Brain Health which utilized a systemic, functional and research backed approach to address the root causes of cognitive dysfunction. Lindsey strongly believes in the importance of educating the greater community that despite a dementia diagnosis, a meaningful and purposeful life is not over. Her mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals while allowing them to age in place with dignity.

Lindsey completed her bachelor’s degree at UC Irvine, and now resides in Frederick, MD with her husband and two crazy cats. Outside of Silverado, she continues to advocate for the aging adult community, serving as a member on the board for both SOAR and the Elder Services Provider Council. Lindsey also enjoys all things performing arts related such as dancing and lighting design.

Stacey holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in social work from Hood College and brings over 8 years of experience dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through daily programming. As the Director of Resident Engagement at Silverado Frederick, Stacey is excited to bring fresh ideas to her passion for facilitating purposeful engagement programs, while thoughtfully adapting to the unique needs of each resident in the community.

Sebastien brings an intriguing and distinguished culinary background to the Silverado family, with experience spanning luxury hotels and even the White House. Born in the Loire Valley of France and raised in Mexico, he was exposed to exquisite culinary fusions at a young age and discovered his passion for culinary. After completing hospitality training in Spain and serving in the French military, Sebastien returned to the U.S. for advanced studies in food service.

Sebastien’s career in culinary flourished as the owner of two successful restaurants in Texas, followed by his role as Executive Chef at the renowned La Posada Hotel. He later became the Food and Beverage Director for the Hyatt hotel in Washington, D.C., establishing him an impressive reputation that later earned him prestigious roles as Executive Chef with federal agencies including the C.I.A., N.I.H. and even the White House.

With over 16 years of extensive experience serving residents with memory impairment, Julia has cultivated a passion for enriching their lives. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse currently working towards becoming a Registered Nurse. As the Assistant Director of Health Services, Julia looks forward to collaborating with associates who share her values and helping residents continue to lead meaningful lives by keeping their minds active and engaged.

Julia was drawn to work with individuals experiencing memory impairment after her younger brother was involved in a vehicle accident that caused traumatic brain injury and short-term memory loss. Today, she treats every person she serves with dignity, respect and the highest quality of care.

Julia resides in Greencastle, PA, with her husband, son, daughter and 2-year-old grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her family, including camping, fishing, kayaking, swimming, beach walks, motorcycle rides and trips to amusement parks.

Megan graduated in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration from Frederick Community College. She brings a passion for serving residents to the Silverado family, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. Megan looks forward to spending time with residents, learning about their life experiences and fostering a compassionate, engaging environment for all.

Megan’s love for working with seniors stems from her close relationship with her grandparents, who inspired her to make a positive impact on the lives of others, especially those she serves.

Outside of Silverado, Megan loves exploring new places and spending time with her two rescue pit bulls. She is always up for an adventure and never turns down an opportunity to have fun.

Faith began her journey as a caregiver in early 2024, driven by a lifelong passion for supporting those with memory care needs. Inspired by her childhood experiences accompanying her mom to work in senior living communities, she now shares that same connection with her own daughter, who often visits Silverado Frederick. Faith values the joy and benefits of intergenerational interactions and hopes to pass on her passion to her daughter.

Faith is committed to innovation and ongoing education, ensuring Silverado delivers quality care while maintaining the dignity of those she serves. She looks forward to growing with Silverado and attributes the continued support from residents and the community for her professional and personal development.

Wilma joined the Silverado family in October of 2022 after being rescued as a stray in Florida alongside her two babies, Cocoa and Bam Bam. She has a gentle demeanor and loves belly rubs! You can always find Wilma lounging in the living room and eagerly waiting by the front door for a walk. Silverado Frederick is incredibly lucky to have a loving dog like Wilma and plans to give her all the love she deserves for the rest of her life.

Joy joined the Silverado family in 2024 and has been a source of delight for both residents and associates. She loves to nap by the fireplace or under desks. Easily won over with treats and belly rubs, Joy enjoys plenty of affection from all our visitors.
