Every year Silverado families are surveyed by U.S. News & World Report about their experience with us. Here are just a few comments shared by verified Silverado Alexandria family members when surveyed:
“Peace of mind knowing parent is well cared for by good people.”
“Silverado is a wonderful place for people with memory issues. The staff are kind and loving, and many activities are provided for those who will take advantage of them. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Families-are welcome at any time to eat with their loved one and their meals are not an additional charge.”
“Without Silverado, I’m sure my loved one would no longer be with us ; thank you”
“Silverado treats my mom with great care. I know that she is safe and being treated with respect and dignity despite her memory loss. While I am saddened that I am losing my mom to a terrible disease, I don’t worry about her care because I know she is good hands. Whenever I visit, she always looks put together, comfortable, and always has a smile for the nurses. Silverado has also made a tremendous effort to create a community not only of the residents but of their family members, allowing me a safe space to share my grief with others experiencing similar emotional trauma.”
