A special intergenerational event brings fun and smiles
Intergenerational programming is an important part of life at Silverado. Children have a noticeably positive effect on residents, bringing an energy and zest for life that is truly contagious! We encourage the presence of children in communities wherever possible, whether through partnerships with local schools and organizations or by welcoming associates to bring their children to work.
The Kids’ Camp hosted recently at Beverly Place is a wonderful example of an intergenerational event, with residents and children of associates spending time together at the community enjoying music and drumming, an improv workshop with Laughter on Call as well as a menagerie of visiting animals! It was a day full of smiles, laughter and affection!
