We’re pleased to announce that we will soon be opening a new Memory Care Community in Summerlin, Nevada, which is a master-planned community on the west side of Las Vegas! The community is projected to open in Early 2022, and will support 72 residents.
Summerlin will be Silverado’s first community in Nevada, and we are excited to introduce our signature style of care and innovative programming to a whole new state. The community of Summerlin, which lies at the edge of the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon to the west, is a growth area that consistently ranks among the top communities in the US for new home sales.
The community’s buildup and opening will be overseen by Tana McMillon, our Regional Vice President of Operations. Tana has been with Silverado for more than 20 years in a number of roles, including Administrator, National Operations Specialist and Regional Vice President of Operations. She will bring her extensive know-how and community experience to making sure our first Nevada community lives up to Silverado’s standard of excellence.
