Every year Silverado families are surveyed by U.S. News & World Report about their experience with us. Here are just a few comments shared by verified Silverado Lee’s Summit family members when surveyed:
“This has been a tremendous learning experience for my family. When my mom was hospitalized last year, little did we know that she would no longer be able to stay in her own house or that we could even take care of her. The staff at Silverado was very helpful and patient in helping us to navigate through all of the legal steps that we didn’t realize were not in place. We didn’t have a lot of choices with my mom’s medical condition. We were able to get our parents placed in their facility quickly. I truly appreciate their care and compassion.”
“The Silverado is the best place for my mom! The building is pristine, the staff genuinely cares, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly, nestled in the heart of beautiful Lee’s Summit. I only wish I had found The Silverado sooner!”
“Lee’s Summit Silverado has been the absolute best experience for my mom. Although our dad passed while he was also a resident, the staff saw to our mom’s needs immediately and made her feel safe. This, in turn, made her family feel secure. Our mom is constantly participating in activities that keep her engaged and active. When our father was alive, she stayed mostly in the room with him. Now she is able to socialize with others daily. In addition, the amount of family activities available at this facility are second to none. I have spoken with several people who have family members at memory care facilities, and they have no social activities for the families. We couldn’t be happier for our mom!”
“The Leadership team (Whitney, Jordan, Nichelle and Ryan) are wonderful. They help to create a sense of belonging, a homey-feel, and I feel like they’re family. The housekeeper Kelly leaves my mom sweet notes of encouragement and love. So appreciated. Also – The kitties that live there also create a sense of home. And we love Ryan’s dog Theo that comes around too.”
